I thoroughly enjoy working via the Internet with clients.  After 10 years of experience working face to face in an office setting, a combination of personal circumstances and global need has helped me evolve my model of working.

My clients typically are managing life transitions and seeking to maintain the healthiest physical, emotional and spiritual wellness during periods of stress.  If you are working through any of the following issues, I would be glad to talk with you further:

  • Mood concerns:  depression & anxiety

  • Attention / Concentration challenges

  • Grief and loss

  • Chronic pain

  • Interpersonal relationships: family of origin, life partner, colleagues

  • Gender identity / sexuality

  • Substance abuse recovery

  • Employment / Career / Business optimization strategies

  • Foreign Tour of Duty / Expat Assignments

  • Present moment focusing / Releasing emotional blockages

Counseling and psychology are a lifelong interest.  However, after graduating Magna Cum Laude in Philosophy and Psychology, my professional life had two unanticipated and fortuitous phases before pursuing my graduate studies.  My first professional career was in local and national real estate management where I gained considerable business marketing and management experience as a Certified Property Manager (CPM).  My second career was in international business consulting focused on locating newly developed technologies and introducing them to Fortune 100 and international corporations.  This career deepened my research and client focused skills.  The international focus further developed my skills and appreciation of multicultural interactions.  It was with great joy that I pursued my original dreams by completing my Master's Degree in clinical mental health counseling at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  My experience gives me a deep respect for the risks and rewards of profound career transitions.
